Children's Healthcare of Atlanta  (2006)

Taco Mac has partnered up with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta by advertising in their 2006 coupon book. Children's Healthcare provides medical care to over 200,000 children each year and is generally over the national average for occupancy. The booklet, being distributed by local schools and church groups, will help fund new square footage, additional hospital beds and expanded services at Children's hospitals.

Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort (2005)

The Georgia Restaurant Association and the National Restaurant Association Support Dine for America Hurricane Relief Effort. This was a nationwide event on Oct 5, 2005 coordinated by the Nat'l Restaurant Association along with the GA Restaurant Association.

Together, the 17,115 participating restaurants, their owners and operators, employees and guests raised millions of dollars on October 5, 2005 by donating a portion of their sales that day to the Hurricane Katrina and Rita recovery effort. 100% of the funds raised through Dine for America will support the American Red Cross Hurricane relief efforts.

Taco Mac and our guests donated $11,000 company-wide. We would like to thank everyone who helped make this day so successful.

Club riders have been responsible for organizing the best series of training rides available for local cyclists. The BVC also has been supportive of local philanthropies. The team has used sponsorship funds to purchase bicycle helmets for the Shepherd Center's "Think First" program which teaches children to avoid common causes of spinal injuries.

In 2005, the BVC will align itself with Camp Twin Lakes to help promote....    Read More!
