Being a local company, Taco Mac® has long served to better the community in which it operates, and today that’s just about everywhere in the greater Atlanta region. The exponential growth of Taco Mac® is largely due to the loyalty and support of the communities where we set up shop. Taco Mac® always strives to give back to the community, by sponsoring local schools, athletic programs, extracurricular activities and local events and is always seeking out larger scale partnerships with charities as well. Providing opportunities for local youth and getting the Taco Mac® brand into the community became a sort of unwritten objective of the restaurant and has become an integral part of Taco Mac®’s growth process.

Shamrocks for Dystrophy (2006)
In February and March of 2006, Taco Mac® participated in MDA's Shamrocks for Dystrophy program by selling green and gold shamrocks in the restaurants. Our staff set the precedent for our guests, by each purchasing a shamrock of their own. Over the next 4 weeks, through a tremendous effort by our staff, the goal for each store to sell $600 and each send one child to a week of camp at Camp Twin Lakes was far surpassed. Company-wide, Taco Mac® raised $10,361 to donate to this important cause. |

The BVC's commitment to cycling can be seen throughout Atlanta. The club frequently takes top-flight junior or young riders under its wing to offer financial support along with the chance to train with elite senior riders. Club riders have been responsible for organizing the best series of training rides available for local cyclists. The BVC also has been supportive of local philanthropies. The team has used sponsorship funds to purchase bicycle helmets for the Shepherd Center's "Think First" program which teaches children to avoid common causes of spinal injuries. |
